Docs: Custom Fields

You have the ability to add Custom Fields to every user. You can find this under Users > Custom Fields (It's a green button). You can add as many Custom Fields as you like, but we suggest keeping it under 10. When a user edits their profile they will see these fields and have the option to put data in them.


What Can I use this for?
If you require more information to be collected for your users, perhaps you want to store additional websites of theirs, you can do this with custom fields. You could even use this to assign custom Serial Numbers for service tags.

The Custom Fields are Search-able!
If you are under your Master Admin, you can go to the Search tab, and if you type in a query that matches anything inside a Custom User Field, it will pop up. This could be useful, if with our previous example you tracked users additional websites, you forgot who owned a certain website. Or perhaps, if you wanted to search through Serial Number for computer parts.
