Docs: Users
There are three types of users, and one Master Admin (0). The Master Admin by default is jboy:jboy when you first install your system. You can and should rename it to something else, this is what the owner should use which allows him or her to do everything.
All users can publish public/private notes, upload files (Clients/Employees only on a project), edit their profile, send email, send tickets, and edit their todo list. All users can also collaborate on open projects.
Master Admin- Only user who can send Invoices/Quotes.
- Only user who can edit Settings.
- Only user who can delete Admins.
- See's all projects.
- See's all files.
- See's all notes (besides private).
Admins
- Can edit Clients and Employee accounts.
- See's all projects.
- See's all files.
- See's all notes (besides private).
Employees
- Allowed to Work on Projects they are assigned to
- Can not be Invoiced/Quoted
Clients
- Limited to their Projects
- Can Request Projects (FULL version)
- Can View Invoices/Quotes assigned to them.
Notification Tip: Since Master Admin and Admins see all projects, it would be hectic to receive notifications from every project. In order to receive notifications as a Master Admin or Admin you must assign yourself as an additional user. Your user Settings must have the notification boxes checked also.
