Docs: Getting Started
Create a Client1. Login as Master Admin
2. Go to Admin > Users
3. Click the Create button
4. Once you setup the basics, additional information can be added by an Admin or the Client him/herself.
5. You can email your client their login credentials from the Apps > Mail if you like.
Prepare your Site
1. Login as Master Admin
2. Go to Admin > Settings
3. Change the Settings information to your site settings.
Note: The most important fields are your site name, URL, and notification addresses. You may also want to change the Notification emails to "Yoursite" rather than freelancerKit. You can change other settings later.
4. Save your changes.
Erase the Demo Data
1. Login as Master Admin
2. Go to Projects
3. Delete all the sample projects.
4. Go to Admin > Users
5. Delete all the demo users.
Now you are ready to rock!
Create your first project
1. Login
2. Go to Projects
3. Click Create
4. Put in your data, it can be minimal that's okay.
5. Submit to create!
* The Assign Client field will allow a client to collaborate on the project with you.
Need more users on one project?
1. Once your project is created you should be at the listings.
2. Click Additional Users
3. Add more users to the project
Note: You don't need to add admins, they can already see everything -- Adding them simply allows them to receive notifications on that given project if their settings are set to on.
Invoicing
Your project must be set to Waiting for Payment or Complete in order to create an invoice for a project.
