Docs: Notes
Notes are used to store anything you like. Such as sections of code or large documents. Rather than filling up the entire Collaboration Message Box with long code, you can create a note.
All users can post notes, private notes can not be read by anyone beside the individual.Create a Note
1. Login
2. Go to Apps & Notes
3. Fill in the fields, the Textarea is Tab friendly
5. Submit & Create!
Note: Creating notes is also linked from the Project View page.
Assign Project
This causes the note to appear in the View Project area, and other users can get to it if it's public.
Private Notes
These are hidden from everyone except you.
Common Sense Security
It's not recommended to store your passwords inside notes due a non-SSL connection, or mis-clicks and accidently making it public. Or if you monkey with the back-end and cause a note object print_r it could get ugly! Of course that'd be a pretty skilled error, but better safe than sorry :P
